Well met adventurers! I’m Joseph (he/him), one of the amazing game masters here at Mindflayed Mondays. For more than 35 years, D&D and other tabletop role-playing games have been part of my life. So much so that I’ve even got an actual play podcast as the DM called Not Safe For Wizards.
My style of running a game is a general mix of the three pillars of exploration, combat, and social interactions. I love homebrewing, but I also enjoy tinkering with published adventures. Theater of the mind, battle maps, or Roll20, I’m ready to present the world for you to play in.
While Dungeons & Dragons is my go to game, I’m pretty open to running other tabletop role-playing games with a bit of notice.
Hey dice-slingers! I am Mauricio (he/him), I’ve been playing Dungeons and Dragons for 3 years now. I specialize in module’d campaigns and adding customized material to such modules. Creating a unique experience for the players is my goal. For example, making a special item, creating a unique spell, or modifying the class and race to fit the players standards.
During my sessions I use discord voice for communication for online sessions. In person sessions also include Roll20 for maps and tokens, and DndBeyond for character sheets. I also provide dynamic lighting maps, animated spells, and cinema quality soundtracks while gaming.
I enjoy running more combat and puzzled game experiences, with a little Role Play in between. If you like playing a game that feels like a movie I guarantee you’ll have the gaming experience of the lifetime.
Hello heroes, adventurers and dungeoneers! My name is Autumn (she/her) and I’ve been playing Dungeons and Dragons for nearly 14 years, but the first several were as a player! My table is an LGBTQ+ safe space and we use safety tools such as Lines and Veils, and the X card for a safer player experience.
I started DMing more consistently for 5E, and for 2 ½ years we played a level 1-20 campaign where I cemented the Players into the Lore of my homebrew setting! Some decided to ascend as Gods / Goddesses, others chose longevity and power on the Material Plane to guide peace and progress.
I primarily use Fantasy Grounds Unity as my virtual tabletop, and discord for voice and video. The reason I use FGU is for its ease to create and import homebrew content, and the dynamic lighting and Line-of-sight features for rendering the Fog of War on battlemaps. I am a big battlemaps person and do not often leave combat to the Theatre-of-the-mind if I can have a map prepared. Most of my maps are made using InkarnatePro, or hand drawn if I have the time/inspiration to do so. I love homebrew everything: long-term campaigns, spells, items, classes, monsters, you get the idea! However, I especially enjoy giving you (the players) the chance to wildly alter my homebrew setting and make it into you and your friends own.
While I do enjoy D&D 5E and have the most experience with it, I am happy to run editions 3.5E or 4E on FGU. I also am open to trying other systems, such as Star Wars systems, Magpie Games such as the Avatar TTRPG and Blades in the Dark hacks
